Welcome to the Soarns Shepherds Huts blog! We are a luxury glamping destination located in the heart of Cornwall, close to Truro and beautiful Cornish beaches. Our Shepherds Huts are situated on a working traditional farm, providing a unique and authentic experience for our guests. We are excited to share that we have recently switched to a renewable electricity energy tariff with Green Energy UK (https://www.greenenergyuk.com/sparklingenergy).

We understand the importance of making sustainable choices and we are committed to doing our part to reduce our carbon footprint. By switching to a renewable energy tariff, we are able to power our huts with clean, renewable electricity generated by sources such as wind and solar.

We understand that many of our guests are also conscious of their impact on the environment and we are proud to offer an accommodation experience that aligns with these values. By choosing to stay with us, you can rest easy knowing that you are supporting a business that is making a conscious effort to reduce its environmental impact.

Although this is only a small step, as a new business, we are committed to bring future improvements to reducing our carbon footprint. Our next goal is to install EV chargers to support guests that wish to bring their EV car to Cornwall.

In addition to our renewable energy tariff, we also take other steps to reduce our environmental impact such as recycling as much waste as possible.
